Description: The RSVP-TE value, K, which is the number of unresponded path or RESV refresh attempts that must be made, spaced by the refresh interval, before the state is deemed to have timed out.

What is cienaCesRsvpteRefreshMultiple?

This is the RSVP-TE K value, the number of consecutive missed path or RESV refresh messages that must occur, spaced by the refresh interval, before a session's state is considered timed out. Together with the refresh interval, this value determines the total time before a stale reservation is torn down; setting K too low risks tearing down a session during a brief transient delay, while setting it too high leaves a genuinely dead session's resources reserved for longer than necessary. For example, a K value of 3 combined with a 30-second refresh interval means the session tolerates missing up to 2 refreshes but tears down after the 3rd consecutive miss, roughly 90 seconds of silence.
