cienaCesPmIntervalProfileCfgAttrsInUse

Module: CIENA-CES-PM

OID (symbolic): CIENA-CES-PM::cienaCesPmIntervalProfileCfgAttrsInUse

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1271.2.3.1.3.1.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: PmTcaIntProfCfgAttrs

Access: read-only

Description: This object indicates the row entries with active configuration. Corresponding rows with a set bit indicated by this object will be used by the PM instances which are associated with this profile. This object is automatically populated based on the row objects which are successfully included during a row creation or are successfully set or unset after a row has been created.

Each named bit in this object corresponds to the row object in this table representing the same configuration attribute.

What is cienaCesPmIntervalProfileCfgAttrsInUse?

This PmTcaIntProfCfgAttrs bitmap reports, bit by bit, which of the optional threshold-configuration attributes in this profile row are actually active, per its DESCRIPTION; it is populated automatically from whichever attributes were successfully set (or later unset) rather than being something an operator sets directly. Because several threshold features (Adjustment, Overflow, Underflow, Alert) in this same profile row can each be configured independently, this bitmap is the fast way to check which subset of them is actually live on a given profile without individually reading every one of the AdjustmentInterval/OverflowThreshold/UnderflowThreshold/AlertInterval objects and checking each for a nonzero value. For example, a profile whose bitmap shows only the Overflow-related bits set tells you that Adjustment TCA and Alert TCA are both dormant on that profile even though the objects for them still exist and return zero.
