This Unsigned32 (0..2,147,483,647) is the absolute-value threshold applied on both sides of the PM instance's adjustment basis value, per its DESCRIPTION; sample readings that fall within this band above or below the basis are treated as normal and will not by themselves cause an Adjustment TCA. This is the object you tune when a port's traffic naturally fluctuates -- setting it too tight turns every normal swing in the monitored statistic into a threshold-crossing alert, while setting it too loose lets a genuine drift in performance go unflagged until it is already severe. For example, with a basis value of 10,000 and this threshold set to 2,000, any sample between 8,000 and 12,000 is normal, but a sample of 13,500 falls outside the band and becomes a candidate for an Adjustment TCA at the end of the interval.
