This Unsigned32, in seconds (0..2,592,000, i.e. up to 30 days), sets how often the Adjustment TCA feature re-evaluates the accumulated statistic against its basis value, and per its DESCRIPTION it must divide evenly by the sample interval, be no shorter than the sample interval, and never exceed one month; a value of 0 means the feature is unset and cannot be set directly to 0. Because this interval, not the short sample interval, is what actually triggers an Adjustment TCA evaluation, choosing it too short generates alert noise on normal statistical variation while choosing it too long delays detection of a real drift in the monitored basis value for as long as the interval lasts. For example, with a 5-minute sample interval, setting this to 3600 seconds (1 hour, evenly divisible by 300) means the adjustment basis is only checked once an hour, so a problem that develops and clears within 20 minutes would never trigger a TCA at all.
