Description: The total number of queries discarded because the queries came too soon.

What is cienaCesPmIGMPTotalStatsBinIgmpnumQueryDiscardsQueryCameTooSoon?

This counter increments each time the switch receives an IGMP query before the minimum interval it expects between successive queries has elapsed, and discards the extra one as a likely duplicate, loop artifact, or misbehaving querier. On this element, a rising value suggests either two multicast routers are both acting as querier on the same segment -- an IGMP querier-election problem -- or a switching loop is duplicating query traffic. As an example, if a redundant router pair both send queries during a failover before one properly backs off, this counter could jump by several counts within seconds of that failover.
