What is cienaCesPmExtendedTxRxCurr24HBinRxMcastPkts?
This counts multicast frames received on this interface. A rising RxMcastPkts count for today's still-accumulating 24-hour bin on this port is expected if it's carrying a subscribed multicast stream like IPTV or a routing protocol, but the same rise on a port that has no business receiving multicast is worth investigating as a leak from elsewhere in the network. For example, RxMcastPkts jumping to 410000 for this in-progress 24-hour bin on an access port with no multicast subscriptions configured would be the tell that a multicast stream is leaking onto that segment.
