Description: The number of remarked bytes received on this PM instance.

What is cienaCesPmBasicTxRxHist24HBinBasicRxYellowBytes?

This read-only Counter64 counts bytes received on this PM instance that were remarked (color-marked) yellow — out-of-profile traffic that exceeded its committed rate but was still within the excess-rate allowance. A rising Yellow count is usually the first sign a customer or internal flow is bursting above its committed rate (CIR) into the excess-rate (EIR) band — traffic that forwards fine until congestion hits, at which point yellow-marked frames are the first ones a downstream queue will drop; because it is drawn from the most recently completed 24-hour bin, frozen once the day rolled over, it is frozen and safe to use for day-over-day comparison, since no further traffic will ever be added to it. On a 10 Gbps wholesale handoff port, this might read 715,000 bytes over yesterday's completed 24-hour window — a number an admin would divide by the bin length to sanity-check it against the port's 10,000,000,000-bps ceiling.
