Description: State of the bin.
What is cienaCesPmBasicTxRxCurrBinState?
This field reports state of the bin, exposed here as cienaCesPmBasicTxRxCurrBinState. On this Ciena CES port's PM data, the PmBinState value tells you whether this bin closed cleanly or is marked partial/invalid (for example because the collection agent restarted mid-interval or the device's clock jumped), which matters because a bin flagged as anything other than a clean, complete state means its byte/frame totals shouldn't be trusted as a full-period average; and this is in the currently open bin of that same basic bandwidth-profile-aware PM group — it keeps accumulating until its Duration elapses and it rolls into history, so reading it mid-interval gives you a partial, still-growing count. For example, this field reading 'valid' for this specific bin tells you whether the sibling counters in the same bin can be trusted as a complete-period total.
