Module: CIENA-CES-PM
OID (symbolic): CIENA-CES-PM::cienaCesPmAdjustmentTcaUnderflowCurrentCount
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1271.2.3.1.3.3.1.1.25
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Unsigned32
Access: read-only
Description: Current number of consecutive underflow conditions that have occurred. A non-zero value indicates the PM instance is presently in an underflow condition which may result in an Adjustment TCA event when the count reaches the underflow count configured in the PM instance's interval profile.
What is cienaCesPmAdjustmentTcaUnderflowCurrentCount?
This Unsigned32 is the current running count of consecutive sample intervals that have each registered an underflow condition, per its DESCRIPTION; a nonzero value means the instance is presently in an underflow condition, and reaching the configured UnderflowCount will raise an Adjustment TCA. This is the low-side mirror of OverflowCurrentCount, and watching it climb is the earliest sign that a throughput or availability statistic is sustaining a drop rather than just dipping briefly, since a single good sample interval resets it back to zero. For example, this counter reaching 4 out of a configured UnderflowCount of 4 means the very next poll should show a fresh Adjustment TCA logged in cienaCesPmAdjustmentTcaEventsUnderflowCountReached.
