For example, if a rule meant to match a particular customer's tagged VLAN accumulates only a few hundred bytes over that completed day while the port overall carries megabytes in that same window, that mismatch suggests the classification criteria (VLAN ID, priority bits, or address range) may not be matching the traffic you expect.
