What is cienaCesSyncInputProtectionGroupTrapState?
Per its description, this CienaGlobalState object toggles the cienaCesSyncInputProtGroupStateChangeNotification trap, fired when a group of protected timing inputs changes state collectively. Unlike the single protection-unit trap, this one reflects the protection group's overall status, for example whether the group has any remaining protected reference at all, which matters because losing all references in a group means the chassis has to free-run its clock. A timing engineer would treat this trap as more urgent than the per-unit trap, since it can indicate the entire synchronization protection scheme, not just one input, has been compromised.
