Description: Setting this object to 'disabled' causes port transceiver link state change traps to be suppressed.

What is cienaCesPortXcvrLinkStateChangeTrapState?

This read-write CienaGlobalState object suppresses or allows traps generated when a port's transceiver (SFP/XFP/QSFP) link state changes, per its description. Because the trap is scoped to the transceiver itself rather than the logical interface, it captures link flaps caused by the optic or the fiber connection, which is useful context when a port is bouncing but the switch's own port configuration hasn't changed. A field technician chasing an intermittent fiber run would use this trap's timestamps to correlate link flaps with, say, a specific time of day when temperature affects a marginal connector.
