Description: Setting this object to 'disabled' causes cienaCesChassisIOMBuzzerEnableChangeNotification traps to be suppressed.

What is cienaCesIOMBuzzerEnableChangeTrapState?

This CienaGlobalState object suppresses or enables the cienaCesChassisIOMBuzzerEnableChangeNotification trap, generated per its description when the audible alarm buzzer's enable setting is changed on the chassis. Because the buzzer is typically toggled by on-site staff to silence an alarm during planned maintenance, this trap gives remote operations visibility into who, or what automation, disabled the physical audible alert, which matters if it's left disabled afterward and a real alarm later goes unheard on site. A remote NOC managing an unmanned hut would enable this trap to confirm the buzzer setting was restored to enabled after a technician's visit.
