Description: Setting this object to 'disabled' causes cienaCesChassisUsbEnabledNotification and cienaCesChassisUsbDisabledNotification traps to be suppressed.

What is cienaCesChassisUsbFlashEnableChangeTrapState?

This CienaGlobalState object suppresses or enables the paired cienaCesChassisUsbEnabledNotification and cienaCesChassisUsbDisabledNotification traps, as described, which fire when the chassis's USB flash port is enabled or disabled. Because USB ports on network gear are a common vector for unauthorized firmware or config loading, tracking when this port's enable state changes is a security-relevant event as much as an operational one. A security-conscious operator would keep this trap enabled to get an alert if someone locally enables the USB port on a chassis where policy says it should stay disabled.
