What is cienaCesCfmSyntheticLossFarFaultTrapState?
Like its near-end counterpart, this read-write CienaGlobalState object governs whether CFM Y.1731 synthetic-loss far-fault and clear traps are generated when the far end of a monitored Ethernet service reports loss above threshold. Because synthetic loss measurement runs continuously between MEPs, this is the trap an admin watches to learn that the remote end of a circuit is experiencing frame loss, which the local end alone cannot detect. Disabling it on a link where the remote carrier already provides its own SLA reporting avoids duplicate alarms in the local NMS.
