Description: The maximum period of time that LDP should wait for a restart capable neighbor to refresh Label Mappings previously received from that neighbor before deleting the stale bindings.
LDP waits for the minimum of this time and the Recovery Time advertised in the FT Session TLV in the Initialization message from the neighbor.
This value is not used to set the Recovery Time advertised in the FT Session TLV in the Initialization message sent to the neighbor.
What is cienaCesLdpMaxPeerRecovery?
This caps how long this device will hold onto stale label mappings received from a restarting neighbor before deleting them if that neighbor doesn't refresh them in time, taking the smaller of this local value and the neighbor's own advertised Recovery Time. Unlike the reconnect-time and recovery-time objects, this setting explicitly does not get advertised to peers; it's purely a local safety ceiling the device enforces on itself. An admin worried about stale MPLS forwarding entries lingering too long after a failed peer restart would lower this value to force quicker cleanup of unrefreshed bindings.
