cienaCesExtAclEntryNotifDstInetAddr
Module: CIENA-CES-ACL-MIB
OID (symbolic): CIENA-CES-ACL-MIB::cienaCesExtAclEntryNotifDstInetAddr
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1271.2.1.25.1.2.2.1.11
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: Duplicate of cienaCesExtAclEntryDstInetAddr for display purposes. This object indicates the destination IP network address that will be authorized. This OID should be used in conjunction with cienaCesExtAclEntryNotifDstInetAddrType and should be compliant with RFC 4001 InetAddressType.
What is cienaCesExtAclEntryNotifDstInetAddr?
This is the destination-side duplicate address field in the extended-ACL notification trap, carrying the actual destination network address this extended entry authorizes traffic toward, mirroring cienaCesExtAclEntryNotifSrcInetAddr's role on the source side. An admin's audit trail built from these traps can reconstruct not just which sources were authorized but specifically which source-destination pairings were authorized together, since the extended ACL model apparently constrains both ends of a flow rather than just the source. For example, a trap showing both a source and this destination address together tells an auditor exactly which specific traffic pairing was newly permitted in that one extended-ACL change.
