Description: Number of input datagrams for which this entity was not their final IP destination and for which this entity attempted to find a route to forward them to their final destination.

When tracking interface statistics, the counter of the incoming interface is incremented for each datagram.

Discontinuities in the value of this counter may occur at re-initialization of the system, and at other times as indicated by the value of DiscontinuityTime.

This object is only available if the capability object 'cie1000IpCapabilitiesHasPerInterfaceIpv4Statistics' is True.

What is cie1000IpStatisticsInterfacesIpv4InForwDatagrams?

This read-only counter reports the number of incoming IPv4 datagrams on this interface that were not destined for this device and for which it attempted to find a route to forward them onward.
