A gap between this value and tsiPhaseNbModConfigured means at least one configured module has gone silent on the bus entirely, a more basic and urgent problem than a module that's present but reporting a fault, since a silent module gives no other diagnostic data at all. An admin seeing this drop below the configured count for a phase would investigate cabling and bus connections to the missing module before looking at power-related fault codes.
