SNMP v2c or v3 managers can directly use c8B10BCurrentHCNonIdleSets, which is a 64 bit counter.
What is c8B10BCurrentNonIdleSets?
This read-only counter reports the lower 32 bits of the number of 8B10B non-idle code sets seen on the interface during the current interval, with the upper bits stored separately in c8B10BCurrentNISOverflow if the count is large.
