What is callState?

This is an integer code, 0 to 255, representing the current state of a call, carried in a call-detail-record notification. On a DS1/T1 voice trunk device, this value is what a billing or CDR-collection system reads to know at what stage a call was when the record was generated; since the description gives no enumeration labels, an admin integrating with this MIB needs the vendor's separate call-state code table to interpret specific values. For example, a trap carrying a value of 6 might correspond to 'call answered' in the vendor's internal state table, versus a different code for 'call disconnected.'
