What is gponOnuWanConfigVlanAdmin?
This turns 802.1Q VLAN tagging on or off for this WAN connection; the specific VLAN ID configured elsewhere on the same connection has no effect on the wire until this is enabled. An admin flips this on as the first step of migrating a subscriber onto a VLAN-tagged access architecture. For example, forgetting to enable this after setting a VLAN ID leaves the connection sending untagged traffic, which the upstream aggregation switch may simply drop if it expects a tag.
