What is gponOnuWanConfigConnectType?
This sets whether this WAN connection acts as a transparent Ethernet bridge, passing PPPoE/DHCP straight through to a downstream router, or as a routed connection terminated on the ONU itself. Choosing route(2) means the ONU itself handles NAT and DHCP for the customer's LAN, while bridge(1) leaves that job to external customer equipment. For example, a business customer who insists on running their own router and firewall would need this set to bridge(1) so the ONU just passes their PPPoE session through untouched.
