This read-create INTEGER (1-4094) holds the specific customer VLAN ID mapped to this GEM port, the actual tag value the OLT matches to route frames into that GEM's T-CONT and bandwidth treatment. Admins set it to determine exactly which subscriber VLAN traffic lands on this GEM's scheduling path. For example, mapping VLAN 100 to this GEM port via gponLineProfileGemMapVlan routes every frame tagged VLAN 100 from the ONU's LAN ports into that GEM port's T-CONT.
