Description: The actual type of the physical port.
What is pportType?
This reports the actual, operationally-detected type of this physical port's board, using the same enumeration as pportAdminType. Comparing this read-only value against pportAdminType is how you catch a mismatch between what was configured and what hardware the switch has actually detected in that slot. If pportAdminType is set to fe1-1-30 but pportType comes back as v35-6, the port was misconfigured for the card that is actually installed and needs the admin type corrected.
