Description: The port number of the corresponding physical port on the board.
What is pportId?
This is the port number of this physical port as it is numbered on its own card. Because a single slot can hold a card with several ports, this value, together with pportSlotId, is how the switch and the admin both address one specific physical connector out of many on that card. On a 4-port DS1 card, pportId values 1 through 4 correspond to the four physical DS1 jacks on that specific card's faceplate.
