Description: The number of passes of the diagnostics tests to be run. The default value is 1.
What is pportDiagTestRuns?
This sets how many consecutive passes the diagnostic test selected by pportDiagTestId will execute on this port, defaulting to a single pass. Running more passes gives a more statistically reliable pass/fail result for intermittent faults on this port, at the cost of taking the port out of service for longer while the test repeats. An admin chasing an intermittent bit error on this port might raise pportDiagTestRuns to 10 so a fault that only shows up occasionally has more chances to be caught.
