nodeRerouteDelay

Module: CASCADE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CASCADE-MIB::nodeRerouteDelay

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.3.64

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The number of seconds delay between each reroute batch event.

What is nodeRerouteDelay?

This sets the number of seconds delay between successive reroute batch events when the switch is reestablishing virtual circuits after a topology change. Increasing nodeRerouteDelay spreads out the rerouting load over more time, reducing the chance of overwhelming the switch's CPU during a large-scale rerouting event, at the cost of slower overall recovery.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.3.64
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CASCADE-MIB::nodeRerouteDelay

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.3.64.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CASCADE-MIB::nodeRerouteDelay.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.3.64.1 i <value>
