Description: The number of currently active PVCs on the node.

What is nodeActivePvcs?

This reports the number of Permanent Virtual Circuits currently in the active state on this switch. A sudden drop in nodeActivePvcs accompanied by a rise in nodeInactivePvcs points to a systemic issue, such as a trunk failure, taking down many circuits at once rather than isolated customer-level problems.
