netDlciAddrSig
Module: CASCADE-MIB
OID (symbolic): CASCADE-MIB::netDlciAddrSig
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This variable states the DLCI addressing significance.
What is netDlciAddrSig?
This determines whether the Frame Relay DLCI used on this network has global significance, unique across the whole Frame Relay network, or only local significance, meaningful only at this switch. Choosing globalAddr(1) versus localAddr(2) affects how the switch and its neighbors interpret and route Frame Relay circuits identified by that DLCI, which matters when interconnecting with other carriers' Frame Relay networks.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.1.3 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CASCADE-MIB::netDlciAddrSig
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.1.3.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CASCADE-MIB::netDlciAddrSig.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.1.3.1 i <value>
