What is lportSmdsCntDxi2AeInvalids?
This counts instances of an invalid DXI2 address extension field in received frames, another of the granular per-field DXI2 header checks. An admin uses it identically to its sibling counters, as a fine-grained pointer to exactly which part of a malformed CPE's DXI2 framing is wrong. For example, seeing only lportSmdsCntDxi2AeInvalids increment while other DXI2 field counters stay flat suggests the CPE's address-extension bit handling specifically is misconfigured, a narrower and more actionable finding than a generic framing-error report.
