An admin compares it against the priority-1 and priority-3/4 queue lengths to see how traffic is distributing across the port's priority scheduler and whether lower-priority traffic is being starved or backing up disproportionately. For example, if lportQP2Len grows steadily while lportQP1Len stays near zero, priority-1 traffic is being serviced fine but priority-2 traffic is accumulating, hinting at insufficient bandwidth allocated to that class.
