Description: This variable states which address format is in use on the Frame Relay interface.
What is lportDlciAddrFmt?
This read-only field reports which Frame Relay addressing format the logical port is using, and in this MIB the only defined value is Q.922, the ITU standard that defines the 2-byte DLCI address field structure. An admin checking this confirms the port is running standard Q.922 framing rather than some vendor-proprietary addressing before troubleshooting DLCI-related PVC issues. For example, a port showing q922(1) tells you frames on that interface carry a standard Q.922 address header, matching what most Frame Relay switches and routers expect.
