What is lportDiagOptionStr?
This read-write octet string carries any extra, test-specific parameters the selected diagnostic, lportDiagTestId, needs beyond the basic test ID and run count, such as a test pattern encoded in vendor-specific format. An admin populates this only when the chosen diagnostic requires additional tuning, leaving it empty for simple tests that need no extra configuration. For example, a BER test might expect lportDiagOptionStr to carry an encoded test-pattern selector, such as a specific PRBS sequence identifier, rather than using its default pattern.
