An admin uses it to verify the DCE is actually answering the polls it receives, tracked by lportDCEInPollFrames, since a big gap between polls-received and status-transmitted would indicate the DCE itself is failing to respond. For example, if lportDCEInPollFrames is climbing but lportDCEOutStatusFrames is flat, the DCE side has a problem generating responses, not just a signaling issue on the wire.
