What is dsx1TotalSESs?
This read-only Gauge reports the number of Severely Errored Seconds encountered by this DS1 interface over the previous 24-hour interval, the daily-total counterpart to dsx1CurrentSESs/dsx1IntervalSESs. This is the daily rollup an admin uses to judge whether a DS1's severe-error rate over a full day exceeds an acceptable threshold, often used directly in carrier SLA quality metrics like percent-severely-errored-seconds-free. An engineer evaluating carrier SLA compliance for a leased DS1 line would compute dsx1TotalSESs divided by 86400 seconds to get the day's SES ratio for the SLA calculation.
