Description: The out-going Interface Id of each of the nodes in the path.
What is cktSmdsRoute?
This read-only OCTET STRING reports the outgoing interface ID of each node along the path for this SMDS route, analogous to cktLeafPath but for SMDS routing, giving the full hop-by-hop sequence of egress interfaces used to reach the destination. This is the detailed routing trace an admin uses to see exactly which path an SMDS circuit takes through the network rather than just knowing the hop count. An engineer diagnosing an SMDS circuit with unexpected latency would decode cktSmdsRoute to see the actual interface sequence and check for an unexpectedly circuitous path.
