Description: The number of outbound octets since the last reset.
What is cktOutOctets?
This is the byte-volume counterpart to cktOutFrames, giving the admin the actual data throughput being delivered on this circuit toward the customer, which combined with cktInOctets lets them build a full bidirectional traffic profile for capacity planning or billing verification. For example, a circuit where cktOutOctets consistently runs near the theoretical maximum for its provisioned CIR plus Be suggests the customer is a heavy, consistent user of their full allotted bandwidth in the outbound direction.
