Description: Number of passes of the diagnostics tests to be run. The default value is 1.
What is cktDiagTestRuns?
This sets how many repetitions of the selected diagnostic test, cktDiagTestId, the switch performs in one diagnostic run, which the admin increases beyond the default of 1 when a longer soak test is needed to catch intermittent errors a single pass might miss. For example, setting cktDiagTestRuns to 100 before running a loopback test on a circuit suspected of occasional bit errors gives the test enough iterations to actually catch and count an intermittent fault rather than reporting a clean single pass.
