Description: The Number of ATM cells received on a VC (VPC or VCC).
What is cktAtmInCells?
This is the ATM-cell-level inbound counter for this virtual connection, the ATM equivalent of cktInFrames but counting individual 53-byte cells rather than reassembled frames, giving the admin the rawest measure of inbound traffic on this VC. For example, dividing the delta in cktAtmInCells between polls by the poll interval and multiplying by 53 bytes/cell gives an actual inbound bit rate the admin can compare against cktAtmPCR to check for rate violations.
