What is cardOperType?
This reports the card type the switch has actually detected in the slot, as opposed to what was configured. A mismatch between cardOperType and cardAdminType is the classic wrong-card-in-the-slot alarm condition: it tells the admin someone plugged in different hardware than what was provisioned, and the card likely won't come into service. For example, cardAdminType shows a T3 IOP card configured but cardOperType reports an OC-3 IOP actually inserted, immediately flagging a slot mix-up during a maintenance window.
