What is cardHwRev?
This reports the hardware revision number of this specific card, in major.minor form. Because hardware revisions can differ in supported features or known errata even under the same part number, an admin cross-references this against vendor release notes before assuming a given firmware image or feature is compatible with this particular card. For example, a known hardware bug affecting only HwRev 1.0 boards is ruled out once cardHwRev confirms the installed card is already at revision 2.1.
