Description: Number of failed diagnostic passes.
What is cardDiagFailures?
This counts how many passes of the foreground diagnostic test failed. Any nonzero value here after a deliberate diagnostic run is the hard evidence an admin needs to justify a card replacement, since it comes directly from the vendor's own test suite rather than an inferred symptom. For example, cardDiagFailures reading 5 out of 20 configured passes gives the admin solid grounds to open an RMA rather than relying on the earlier ambiguous background marginal flag alone.
