aseMask

Module: CASCADE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CASCADE-MIB::aseMask

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.2.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IpAddress

Access: read-only

Description: IP Address mask for an external NMS. The default value is 255.255.255.255.

What is aseMask?

This is the subnet mask associated with the external NMS entry, defaulting to 255.255.255.255 for a single host, used by the switch to determine the scope of addresses considered part of that NMS route. A mask other than the default on aseMask would mean the switch treats an entire subnet, not just one host, as reachable via this NMS route entry.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.2.1.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CASCADE-MIB::aseMask

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.2.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CASCADE-MIB::aseMask.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> aseMask.1
