aseDlci
Module: CASCADE-MIB
OID (symbolic): CASCADE-MIB::aseDlci
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.2.1.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The management dlci through which the NMS communicates to the switch.
What is aseDlci?
This is the Frame Relay DLCI, a virtual circuit identifier, over which the switch communicates management traffic to the external NMS defined by this entry. Configuring aseDlci correctly is essential in a Frame Relay network where the NMS is reached over a specific PVC rather than a direct Ethernet connection; get it wrong and management traffic goes nowhere.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.2.1.1.7 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CASCADE-MIB::aseDlci
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.2.1.1.7.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CASCADE-MIB::aseDlci.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.277.1.2.1.1.7.1 i <value>
