wfDhcpSvrMaxPendingLeases
Module: BayNetworks-DHCP-MIB
OID (symbolic): BayNetworks-DHCP-MIB::wfDhcpSvrMaxPendingLeases
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.24.1.1.8
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Maximum number of lease requests to the DHCP Server which are pending commitment by the NetID DHCP Server Manager. Once there are wfDhcpSvrMaxPendingLeases lease requests pending, all new lease requests will be dropped until the number of requests pending decreases to wfDhcpSvrMaxPendingLeases/2.
What is wfDhcpSvrMaxPendingLeases?
Caps the number of lease requests that can be waiting on commitment by the NetID Server Manager at once (default 2); once that limit is hit, new requests are dropped until the pending count falls back to half this value. It's a throttle to keep the server from overwhelming its manager during a burst of requests.
