What Is BLUECOAT-SG-POLICY-MIB?
BLUECOAT-SG-POLICY-MIB is a Blue Coat Systems (now part of Broadcom/Symantec) proprietary MIB for monitoring policy violations on Blue Coat SG proxy appliances. Its data is limited to a notification-type pair: a device policy message trap carrying details of a triggered policy rule, and a corresponding trap-enable object. As a software/security-monitoring MIB it exists purely to alert an administrator via SNMP trap when the proxy's content or security policy engine flags a violation, rather than to expose pollable counters. It is deployed on Blue Coat SG secure web gateway appliances. Engineers can download the BLUECOAT-SG-POLICY-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in BLUECOAT-SG-POLICY-MIB.
