Description: Sends a ping to a switch module's current IP address.
NOTE: Value returned for the GET command is meaningless for this MIB.
What is switchPingRequest?
A read-write control that sends a ping to the switch module's current IP address when set to execute(1); the value returned by a GET is not meaningful, since this column exists purely to trigger the ping. An admin uses this to verify network reachability of the switch module.
