Description: Elapsed time (in seconds) since the last BGP UPDATE message was received from the peer. Each time bgpPeerInUpdates is incremented, the value of this object is set to zero (0).
What is bgp4V2PeerInUpdatesElapsedTime?
This measures seconds since the last BGP UPDATE message was received from the peer; it resets to zero each time an UPDATE arrives. It helps detect stale peering. Example: an elapsed time of 7200 (2 hours) with an expected 30-minute update cycle indicates the peer has stopped sending routes.
