aviatModemModulationBase

Module: AVIAT-MODEM-MIB

OID (symbolic): AVIAT-MODEM-MIB::aviatModemModulationBase

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2509.9.3.2.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: AviatModulationType

Access: read-write

Description: This specifies the base modulation to use for modem. Together with aviatModemModulationMax this is used to define the range of modulations that can be active for ACM. The modem will configure the ACM operation to include the minimum and maximum modulations and an appropriate set of intermediate modulations between the minimum and maximum.

Some combinations of min and max modulations may not be supported in which case an INCONSISTENT_VALUE error will be reported.

What is aviatModemModulationBase?

This sets the base (lowest) modulation used for this modem. Together with aviatModemModulationMax it defines the range of modulations the modem will use for adaptive modulation, automatically selecting appropriate intermediate steps between them; some min/max combinations aren't supported and will be rejected with an INCONSISTENT_VALUE error.
